Referral Program Terms

5% commission rate

On net booking value for each eligible booking by your referrals, within 6 months of their registration.

1. Programme Overview

The Yellsy Referral Programme allows registered users ("Referrers") to earn commission by inviting new users ("Referrals") to register on Yellsy. Participation is voluntary and subject to these terms.

2. Eligibility

To participate as a Referrer you must:

  • Have a verified Yellsy account in good standing
  • Not have been previously suspended for referral abuse
  • Be at least 18 years old

Corporate or automated referral schemes are prohibited.

3. Commission Structure

Excluded: refunded bookings, free-trial bookings, bookings charged back, and bookings made by the Referrer themselves.

4. Anonymity & Privacy

Privacy by design

Commission records display only an anonymous booking identifier — a randomly generated ID with no link to the Referral's identity, email, or personal data. Referrers never have access to the personal information of their Referrals.

5. Commission Payment

Commissions accumulate in your Yellsy account. Payout threshold and method are communicated in your dashboard. Pending commissions are displayed as estimates until the booking's cancellation window has passed. Commissions are forfeited if your account is terminated for policy violations.

6. Fraud Prevention

We actively monitor for referral fraud including: self-referrals, fake account creation, coordinated commission inflation, and automated referral generation. Detection methods include device fingerprinting, IP analysis, and payment pattern analysis.

Consequences of fraud

Immediate commission forfeiture, account suspension, and potential legal action for damages.

7. Programme Changes

We reserve the right to modify commission rates, eligibility windows, or payment terms with 30 days' notice. Changes do not apply retroactively to confirmed commissions already earned. We may suspend or terminate the Programme entirely with 60 days' notice.

8. Tax Obligations

Referrers are solely responsible for declaring and paying applicable taxes on commission income in their jurisdiction. Yellsy does not withhold taxes. We may provide commission summaries for your records upon request.

9. Disputes

Commission disputes must be raised within 60 days of the relevant booking date. Email [email protected] with your account email and the anonymous booking ID in question.
