Why was my card declined?
Common reasons include insufficient funds, bank security blocks on travel purchases, or spending limits. Try a different card or call your bank.
A card decline during checkout usually has nothing to do with Yellsy's platform. The decline is issued by your bank or card network before any money is requested.
Common reasons for card declines
- •Insufficient available funds or credit limit reached
- •Bank security block on international transactions or travel-category purchases
- •Per-transaction spending limit set on your card
- •Card flagged for fraud prevention due to an unusual transaction pattern
- •Card expired or billing address mismatch
- •3D Secure authentication failed or timed out
What to try
- 1.Check that your billing address matches the one on file with your bank
- 2.Try a different credit or debit card
- 3.Call your bank and ask them to authorize online travel purchases
- 4.Ensure your card has not expired and the CVC is entered correctly
- 5.Retry after a few minutes — some declines are temporary
