How Stripe secures your payments on Yellsy
All Yellsy transactions run through Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment infrastructure. Yellsy never touches your raw card data.
Financial security is non-negotiable. Every payment on Yellsy is processed through Stripe, one of the most trusted payment infrastructure companies in the world, certified to the highest available industry standard.
PCI-DSS compliance
Stripe is certified to PCI-DSS Level 1, which is the most rigorous tier of the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard. This certification covers the entire Stripe processing environment, including card number handling, cryptographic key management, and access controls. When you pay through Yellsy, your card details enter Stripe's secure environment directly and never pass through Yellsy's servers.
- •Yellsy never sees, stores, or logs your full card number
- •Your CVV is never retained after authorization
- •Stripe returns only a secure token to Yellsy, which is used for future authorizations
- •All transaction records on Yellsy's side contain only the last four digits of your card and the token reference
Accepted payment methods and 3D Secure
- •Visa, Mastercard, and American Express (credit and debit)
- •Apple Pay and Google Pay where available
- •3D Secure 2 (3DS2) is applied automatically for cards and banks that require it
- •3DS2 adds an additional authentication step (face ID, fingerprint, or one-time SMS code) before the payment is captured
Troubleshooting failed transactions
If your payment is declined, the most common causes are:
- •Insufficient funds or credit limit reached
- •Bank security block on travel-category or international online purchases
- •Per-transaction spending limit set on your card
- •3D Secure authentication timeout or failure
Contact your bank to authorize the transaction type, then retry. If the problem persists after switching cards, contact our support team via live chat for direct assistance.
You can manage and remove saved payment methods at any time from the Billing section of your dashboard.
