Refund timelines depend on whether you are receiving a Yellsy service fee refund, an airline ticket refund, or both. Each follows a different timeline.
Yellsy service fee refunds
- •Issued within 5 to 7 business days of the refund being approved
- •Returned to the original payment method
- •Applicable when the booking did not complete due to a Yellsy or technical error
Airline ticket refunds
- •Initiated by Yellsy on your behalf once the airline approves the refund
- •Processing time: typically 7 to 21 business days depending on the airline
- •Low-cost carriers may process faster (5 to 10 business days)
- •Some refunds may be issued as airline travel credits rather than cash
Track your refund
You can monitor the status of any refund in real time from the Billing section of your dashboard. The status will show: Requested, Processing, or Completed.
