Yellsy cancellation and non-refundability policy explained
Most Yellsy packages are non-refundable due to the nature of opaque wholesale pricing. Here is what you need to know before you book.
Yellsy assembles comfort packages using wholesale rates sourced directly from airline and hotel APIs. These rates are contractually committed at the moment of booking and cannot be unwound without financial penalty to Yellsy from our suppliers. This is why the standard Yellsy package is non-refundable once confirmed.
Why Yellsy packages are non-refundable
When Yellsy books a flight through Duffel or Amadeus, or reserves a hotel room through Hotelbeds, the supplier immediately locks your reservation at a wholesale rate. The airline sells the seat from their available inventory. If we cancel your booking, the airline retains the fare as a cancellation penalty. Yellsy cannot absorb this cost on your behalf, which is why cancellation requests on standard packages result in no refund of the base travel cost.

- •Hotel bookings through Hotelbeds: non-refundable rate rooms are locked at booking
- •Transfer reservations: cancellation fees apply within 48 hours of the transfer time
- •Yellsy service fees: non-refundable once the booking mandate has been submitted
The Flexible Option exception
For select routes and travel periods, Yellsy offers a Fully Flexible option during the package configuration step. This option bundles refundable airline fare classes and free-cancellation hotel rates. If the Flexible badge appears on your package summary before payment, your booking can be cancelled for a full refund up to the stated deadline shown in your confirmation.

- •Refunds under the Flexible option are processed within 5 to 7 business days
The importance of travel insurance
Because most Yellsy packages are non-refundable, we strongly recommend purchasing independent travel insurance before your trip. A comprehensive travel insurance policy can cover cancellation costs for covered reasons such as illness, bereavement, or government-issued travel bans. Yellsy does not sell insurance but can recommend reputable providers upon request.
