Airline baggage

Baggage allowances vary by airline, route, and fare type. Your confirmation shows what is included. Check the airline's website for the latest policy.

Baggage allowances are set by the operating airline and vary depending on the fare type purchased, the route, and the class of travel. Your Yellsy booking confirmation shows the included baggage for your specific ticket.

Typical baggage inclusions

  • Basic economy / no-frills: carry-on only (no checked bag included)
  • Standard economy: 1 checked bag, typically 20 to 23 kg
  • Premium economy / Business: 2 checked bags, typically 23 to 32 kg each
  • Cabin baggage limits: usually 7 to 10 kg for all fare types

Adding extra baggage

If you need more baggage than your ticket includes, you can typically purchase it directly on the airline's website using your booking reference. Pre-purchasing is almost always cheaper than paying at the airport.

Baggage policies can change between booking and travel. Always confirm the current allowance on the airline's website using your booking reference a few days before departure.
