Online check-in opens 24 to 48 hours before departure. Yellsy sends a reminder with a direct link to your airline's check-in page.

Online check-in is handled directly by your airline, not by Yellsy. You use your booking reference (PNR) on the airline's website or app to check in and select your seat.

Check-in windows by airline type

  • Most major carriers: check-in opens 24 hours before departure
  • Some long-haul carriers: check-in opens 48 hours before departure
  • Low-cost carriers (Ryanair, easyJet, Vueling): typically 24 to 48 hours
  • Some airlines close online check-in 1 hour before departure — do not wait until the last minute

Yellsy check-in reminders

Yellsy sends a check-in reminder email 24 hours before your departure with a direct link to your airline's check-in page. Ensure your email address is correct in your account settings so you receive this reminder.

If you miss online check-in

Most airlines still allow airport check-in if you miss the online window, but you may not be able to choose your seat and may face longer queues. Arrive at the airport with additional time if this happens.

Download the airline's app before your trip. Most apps allow mobile boarding passes, which removes the need to print.
