Third-party providers explained
Yellsy uses industry-standard flight distribution systems to access real-time airline inventory and book on your behalf.
To search and book flights across hundreds of airlines, Yellsy connects to specialized flight distribution systems. These are the same systems used by large travel agencies, corporate travel platforms, and other booking websites.
How distribution systems work
Airlines publish their inventory (seats, prices, availability) to global distribution systems. Travel platforms like Yellsy query these systems in real time to show you current fares and availability. When you book, Yellsy submits your reservation through the same system, and the airline receives and confirms it.
What this means for reliability
- •Fares and availability are pulled directly from airline systems — not estimated or cached
- •Bookings are submitted through the same channels as direct airline bookings
- •Your booking reference is recognized by the airline on their own website
- •In the event of a provider outage, Yellsy routes your search through an alternative system
Yellsy is responsible for your booking experience end to end. If any issue arises with a provider, contact Yellsy — you never need to deal with distribution systems directly.
